Anti-Corruption movement in 2011, popularly known as the Lokpal movement is considered as a landmark incident in the recent history of India. Parivartan was actively involved in the movement and conducted various activities for the awareness about the Lokpal law. Parivartan, along with some other activists, formed various Lokpal groups at the local level in Pune, in order to make local elected representatives and the municipal authorities answerable directly to the people. The initiative was appreciated by the veteran activist and the leader of Lokpal movement Anna Hazare.
