The election is the biggest festival of democracy, the participation of every citizen in this festival is of utmost importance. We started our work with a voting awareness campaign during the 2009 Lok Sabha elections. Since then, Parivartan has conducted voting awareness campaigns during the Lok Sabha elections 2014 and 2019, Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2009 and 2014 and Pune Municipal Corporation elections 2012 and 2017.

We conducted voting awareness campaigns in colleges, educational institutes, housing societies, parks, hills, theaters and on the streets as well.

With the changing times, we have been trying the innovative ways of conducting voting awareness right from distribution of pamphlets, campaigning on the streets of populated squares holding awareness banners and flex, to flash mobs, street plays and very recently social media campaign.

In recognition of our voting awareness work, Parivartan was featured in one of the episodes of a very famous program on television 'Satyameva Jayate' on the topic of 'Don't Sell Your Vote'.
